Finishing strong

We finally got a call from Kimbie at about 10:15 pm Texas time on Tuesday after not hearing from her since Sunday afternoon. She has had a busy couple of days. Monday was the 17 mile Na Pali Coast kayak trip, which sounds like it was spectacular. They saw dolphins swimming alongside them, sea turtles feeding in the shallow waters near the shore, and paddled into caves along the coast. Today (Tuesday) was an 8 mile hike to Hanakapiai Beach and waterfall. They swam under the waterfall and then found a natural water slide downstream and had fun sliding through it. Tomorrow (Wednesday) is their last full day. They'll mostly relax and pack, but also have a trip scheduled to a lighthouse. Thursday afternoon is the first of the three flights that get them home on Friday morning.
