Early this morning they hiked the Devastation Trail because they didn't have time to do it yesterday. It was 60 degrees and raining but now (about 9:45 am Hawaii time) the sun has come out and it is 80 degrees. They just arrived at Kaumana Caves park. Later they will go to the Summit of Mauna Kea, where they'll stay until after dark to see the stars. A combination of factors makes Mauna Kea one of the best places on the planet to see the night sky.
