This morning we had the "weigh in" and it was no surprise that Kimbie's bag was over the 50 pound limit. So some items were transferred to her carry-on backpack, some of the ample snack foods were removed, she eliminated one of the the three large bottles of Purel, and went out and bought some smaller bottles of shampoo, etc. Finally got it down to 46.5 pounds, which should allow for our scale to be a little bit off. Printed boarding passes, charged phone & camera and of course the most important part of any travel preparation -- she went with Angela to get her toenails done.
