Rain in the rainforest

Kimbie called again late this afternoon (lunchtime in Hawaii). She was in her cabin eating a lunch -- a peanut butter sandwich and granola bar. Yesterday they hiked through the rainforest where, true to its name, it rained on them most of the time. She climbed up a waterfall which she said was really, really cool, like something world-famous adventurer Bear Grylls would do. This morning they went to a beach and were going to another beach later. The rain had stopped today. Except for yesterday when it rained the whole time they were hiking, they usually just have a quick rain shower or two each day. Her phone service isn't good enough to send any pictures, but she promised to send some more when they get to Lahaina.
